Olympic swimmer Kingdon Gould donated funding for a pool where area children could swim competitively and that served the needs of the community.

Aquattica’s design includes two connected pools separated by a wingwall, with one pool with lanes for competitive swimming and the other pool for recreation and learn-to-swim programs. The connected design eliminates the need for a second filtration system or chemical control system (as the pools are one body of water).
